Available Texts S-Z
The following table lists all the articles from those Newsletters which I have available at this moment in time (Last update: 01 June 2004). More will follow as I sort out my files. Please note that some files are copyrighted by their author and not by the BDG and hence are not available as downloads. You can, however, read the file on the Website. Links are provided to the pages in the 'Notes' column.
Articles from the current year's Newsletters are not available until the following year.
The approximate title of each available text is in the 'Title and Author' column. Texts are available as MS Word documents or as Text files.
To save a MicroSoft Word file
This will give you a completely formatted copy.
Follow these general instructions (which may vary according to your
computer set-up):
1. |
In the 'Title and Author' column, click Word for the article you wish to copy. |
2. |
A box/form will appear on the screen telling you that you have requested a download from the BDG Website. |
3. |
In the appropriate places show where on your hard drive you wish to save the document to. |
4. |
When you have completed the form, click [OK] |
5. |
The document will be downloaded and saved to your hard drive, to the folder of your choice. |
6. |
You will now be able to access the file using MicroSoft Word. |
To save a Text file
This will give you an unformatted copy of the text, but one divided into
paragraphs. This is useful for use in virtually any word processor.
Follow these instructions:
1. |
In the 'Title and Author' column, click Text for the article you wish to copy. Wait for text to appear. Do not worry about how the text appears on your screen at this stage. |
2. |
Right-click anywhere on the text. |
3. |
From the menu, left-click [Select All] All the text will be highlighted. |
4. |
Right-click anywhere on the highlighted text. |
5. |
From the menu, click [Copy] |
6. |
Load MS Word, click [New] and select the type of page you wish to use from your templates. |
7. |
Click [Edit] then [Paste] Your text will be pasted onto your chosen page. |
8. |
Format the text in any way you wish. |
9. |
Click [File] then [Save As] (change the file name if you wish) and select where you wish to save to. |
