About the book
I bought this booklet of 40 pages because of my interest in the Midwife Toad Alytes obstetricans.  Of course I also have an interest in our native reptiles and amphibia.  Because of the origins of this booklet you have to believe the data it presents.  There are large maps of the British Isles with rather unhelpful black dots all over them, but I suppose I shouldn't have been expecting 'You'll find a thriving colony of Midwife Toads in the garden of 12, Coronation Street, Weatherfield'.  But I was.  I've since got over my disappointment.

If this is also an interest of yours, then you can't have a more reliable source.  But at £8.95 it's a bit over-priced so I hope you think it's worth it!
