DUTCH FROGDAY Lionel Sumner I went to the Dutch frog day in April and I have done a report on the species, prices, foods and condition of the creatures as well as plants (but not the species) at the frog show. There were not very many species but there were a lot of the same species at each table. These are the ones I saw: Dendrobates auratus €15-30* Dendrobates ventrimaculatus €25-35 Dendrobates galactonotus orange & yellow phases €30-45 Dendrobates azureus €30-40 Dendrobates leucomelas €20-30 Dendrobates tinctorius €20-40 Phyllobates terribilis €35 Phyllobates vittatus €9-20 Phyllobates bicolor €20-30 Epipedobates tricolor €10-20 Most of the food there were fruit flies but at one of the stalls they were selling a white tropical woodlice with a maximum size of about 6mm - a really good food item for small frogs. It was nearly all hobbyists and one or two shops, which meant that most of the frogs were in good condition. PLANTS There were many types of plants including carnivorous plants. There were a lot of orchids and bromeliads all in good condition.
